A Company You Can trust
Founded in 1985 in Chehalis, Washington, Pacific Cataract and Laser Institute (PCLI) is made up of an exceptional group of physicians and warm, caring staff who bring a soft touch to the sophistication of eye surgery.
As a referral center, the organization compliments the skills of family eye doctors throughout Alaska, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Oregon and Washington. New clinics are only established on the invitation of community optometric physicians.
Seventeen locations provide top caliber medical care with special expertise in cataract surgery and laser vision correction. Visitors are treated as special guests and a comfortable, homelike atmosphere reassures patients and minimizes fear of surgery. Each office is carefully designed and staffed to meet the needs of referring doctors.
COMMENT FROM A COMMUNITY OD
PCLI's reputation for comanagement is well respected. When I’ve attended conferences across the nation and doctors notice I’m from Chehalis (PCLI’s home town), they often ask if I work for PCLI. Their eyes pop open when I say—no, they work for me!

Comanagement involves giving up control and sharing patient care in a way that is foreign to most ophthalmologists.
PCLI's founding surgeons had the vision and fortitude to take that giant leap and say—surgery is what we do best and primary care is what community optometric physicians do best.
